Surface Raceways
A raceway is a plastic track. It sticks to the wall. You put cables inside. You then snap the cover shut. You can paint the raceway to match your wall. This works well for concrete walls.
In-Wall Hiding
We can hide cables behind the drywall. We cut two small holes. One hole goes behind the TV. The second hole goes near the power outlet. We run the cables through the wall. We use brush plates to cover the holes. This creates a professional finish. Do not run power cords inside the wall. Use a power bridge kit for safety.
Mount Above a Fireplace
Mounting above a fireplace is common in Vancouver. It presents challenges. Heat can damage electronics. We check the temperature. We ensure the wall is not too hot. We also check for gas lines. We use specific anchors for the stone or tile.
